Adco-Napamol is a combination medication that typically contains naproxen (a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug, NSAID) and paracetamol (also known as acetaminophen). This combination is used primarily for the relief of mild to moderate pain and to help reduce fever or manage inflammatory conditions.[8]

Naproxen is commonly prescribed to reduce pain and inflammation associated with conditions such as arthritis (rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis), musculoskeletal pain (including back pain and muscle aches), headache, menstrual cramps, toothache, gout, and tendinitis.[1] It works by blocking substances in the body that cause inflammation and pain.[5]

Paracetamol, on the other hand, is an analgesic and antipyretic used for the management of pain and fever but does not reduce inflammation.[4] Its addition to naproxen may enhance overall pain relief without significantly increasing gastrointestinal side effects.[2]
